Where We’re Based
Esposende, Portugal
On Portugal’s northern coast, about 50km north of Porto. The area offers a mix of flat water lagoons and ocean spots, with thermal winds during the summer, multiple beaches catering to different wind directions, and fewer crowds than the southern Portugal kite spots.

Yes, especially for instructor certification courses (which require a minimum number of participants), peak season (July-August), and multi-session packages. For single lessons, we can often accommodate shorter notice if conditions align.
We monitor forecasts and schedule sessions when conditions match what you’re trying to learn. If wind doesn’t cooperate, we reschedule — no wasted sessions.
Yes. All equipment is included in lesson prices (kites, boards, harnesses, wetsuits, safety gear). For Progression sessions, you can bring your own suitable gear for a reduced rate.
Fly into Porto (OPO). From there: Car rental (~45 min, recommended), Uber/Taxi from airport, or regional bus. We can help coordinate transport options when you book.
For instructor certification with the full package, accommodation at Inn Esposende is included. For lessons, Esposende has options ranging from hostels to hotels. We’re happy to recommend places based on your budget.
April through September. Outside these months, we’re not running regular lessons in Esposende.
