You will save more money by taking a lesson than by learning on your own. Why trash your new equipment when you can take a lesson and use the school’s kites, boards, bars, etc.

Book your first lesson with us when you are ready to learn to kitesurf.
Our lessons are individual and last 1h30. Optionally (if you’re a couple, for instance), you can choose to have a 3hours lesson, with two students and one instructor.
However, we do not recommend this as one will be waiting for the other each time you practice. Instead, each one can have one instructor and finish simultaneously. We will provide all the equipment you need for each session.
If you are a beginner, your first lesson with us will start on the beach with a trainer kite. After that, you will progressively go to the water with a full-size kite as described in the complete iko teaching program.
From our experience, approximately 3 to 5 hours of kite lessons are needed to reach a level where you can handle your kite and board independently and ride with safety. So around 3 to 4 kiteboarding lessons. Each student’s progress is always individual and may be faster or slower. The most important is to not skip any steps along the way.
You can book lessons with us regardless of whether you are new at kitesurfing or if you have already started learning. We will adapt the class to your level.
Trainer Kite: The 3-line Trainer Kite is the ultimate kite to safely enter the sport of kiting. Designed to bring out the kitesurfer within everyone, the Trainer Kite is responsive, smooth, and stable with just enough power to ensure you will be ready to progress safely and with ease.
The unique 3-line Safety System with Safety Leash guarantees safe, easy re-launch and gives you the ability to land the trainer kite by yourself. If you feel too much power or are ever unsure, all you have to do is let go of the bar, and the Trainer will land automatically and wait for you until you re-launch it again.
We will also use a small foil for the water and can help you gain the necessary confidence in the first few lessons.
Inflatable kites: We use top-of-the-line inflatable kites in our lessons. These kites are durable, have the latest safety systems one pump feature, and can depower a lot allowing us to use them easily and safely. These kites help you become a great kiteboarder faster, and this is why we use them.
We have boards of different sizes and shapes to adapt them to your progression rhythm and the existing conditions. For example, we have big and small boards with more or less flex, flatter, or with more rocker. This way, we can choose the one that is best suited to help you progress.
Wetsuits, helmets, life-vests, and wind-blockers
In our lessons, we will equip you with a pleasant and comfortable 5/3mm wetsuit so you can enjoy your lesson.
We will always equip you with a life vest to make sure you stay afloat in any condition. The life vest also acts as an impact protector, allowing extra protection while kiting. We have developed our life-vests perfectly adapted to our school needs. They are flexible and comfortable and fit perfectly under your harness.
Alongside our life-vests, we have colored t-shirts, so it’s easy to spot you in the water. The instructor has a similar shirt in blue, making them easily identifiable even at a distance.
You will also use a helmet to protect your head.

So you’re wondering, why should you shell out the money for lessons?
The most important reason is not to hurt yourself or others. You will also save yourself time and money by learning from qualified instructors who have developed instructional programs to guarantee a positive learning experience. The following list gives more reasons why you should take lessons:
Instructors will show students safe shortcuts and get riders up to kitesurf more efficiently.
Most schools have worked with thousands of students and can effectively assess and address lousy techniques and set you on the right track.
Schools are a great place to learn about the multitude of equipment available and best suited to a beginner.
Many schools have deals set up with shops and manufacturers. That way, when you are ready to buy your equipment, you will know you are getting a fair price.
Most importantly, you will have fun and learn in a safe, nurturing environment.
Please make sure you take lessons from a certified school or instructor with insurance. After your lesson, our school will issue an international card detailing your experience and level. You can use this certification to rent equipment or continue your lessons in other schools worldwide.
