FIRST FLY AND BASIC SKILLS
This is where you start! Get to know the kite and learn the basics with our foil. This is what you will do:

Kite control and safety
Hit the water! When you know how to fly the kite, its time for the real stuff. Our qualified and experienced instructors will teach you all about kitesurfing and safety. All steps from the basic flying should be completed before this step. Good kite skills are mandatory and will help you progress much faster.
Safety, setup and basic handling of a tubekite. This is where you learn all important safety steps as well as how to control and fly a real kite safely. You will practice maneuvers in the water with the kite. Things your instructor will teach you:
Set up a inflatable 4 lines kite
– Introduction to the features and safety systems
– Quick release and bar recovery demonstration and practice
– First practice with a power kite
– Specific exercises at the edge of wind window – Learn and practice assisting launch
– Water priority rules – Water relaunch
– Body drag introduction
– Body drag Edge of the wind window Static
– Body drag Edge of the wind window 8’s
– Body drag One hand – Body drag Power Zone – Body drag board recovery
After this step:
– You should be able to safely eject from the kite, recover the bar and restart the kite.
– You should be able to safely return to the beach and recover your board. Handling the kite in the water should be mastered.
Waterstart and board control
Go get the board! This is what it is all about! Time to learn how to ride that board on the water! Our qualified and experienced instructor will teach you how to use the kite to get surfing on that board. You need to know how all safety procedures and how to control a fullsize tubekite before this step. These skills you learn in the previous kite control and safety step.
To ride the board with power from the kite, waterstart! Learn to use the power of the kite to ride on the water with your board. Things your instructor will teach you:
Learn an practice landing and launching with an assistant
– Board preparation – Water Start theory
– Water Start maneuver (the “smileys” exercise)
– Water Start – Self Rescue
After this step:
– You should be able to control the kite and the board to start your navigation.
Kitesurfing
Become an independent rider! Don’t stop progressing! Once you have learned to ride your first meters, the real fun starts. Rent or buy your own equipment to progress faster and get the most out of your precious time on the water.
Progress faster! With further lessons, you take your kitesurfing further. We’ll help you out with everything from first rides and jumps to advanced maneuvers, wave riding, or whatever else you wish to learn.
